Yarra City Council is seeking dedicated candidates to fill multiple roles in Occasional Care Early Childhood Educator positions at The Connie Benn Centre in Fitzroy.
We are looking for passionate educators to join our children's services team and provide high-quality education and care through trauma-informed, child-centred, and family-focused practice. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic about continually providing a strength-based curriculum that promotes positive relationship building.
Candidates will have prior experience, knowledge and understanding of how trauma affects the lives and needs of children and their families. Candidates will contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment. You will be committed to fostering trust, choice, and collaboration with the children in our care, in partnership with your peers, families, and the community.

Applicants are required to have:
- An ACECQA approved Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Equivalent or higher)
- Up to date ACECQA approved First Aid, CPR, EpiPen and Asthma Management qualifications,
- Valid Working with Children Check or VIT registration,
- Current mandatory reporting training,
- Meet the government requirement’s for mandated COVID-19 vaccination,
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
- Experience in occasional care and long day care is desired
