The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is currently looking for an enthusiastic Mechanic who is looking to maybe take a step back in their career or just try something new. You will be assisting the Course Superintendent in maintaining our fleet of equipment and machinery for our world-class golf course facility.

The Kalgoorlie Golf Course is situated 600km east of Perth in the middle of the outback and provides a beautiful and unique setting. The course is highly regarded within Australia and consistently ranked in Australia’s top 100 courses, annually hosting the televised Western Australian PGA Championships.

To be successful in this challenging yet extremely rewarding role, you will have:

  • Trade Certificate in Mechanics or at least 2 years’ experience in a workshop as a technician
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work within a team environment
  • Be Driven and self-motivated with a strong ability to work autonomously
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to adapt to change and learn new machinery and equipment
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines

Total Package

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Salary ranges between $82,019 - $88,869
