Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following key position.

MECHANIC – Re-Advertised Position (Permanent)

The purpose of the Mechanic is to provide mechanical skills for the efficient maintenance and repair of Council plant, vehicles, equipment, pumps and motors both in the workshop and infield situations.

Qualifications: The successful applicant will need to be a qualified mechanic with a Motor Mechanic licence and have experience working on diesel engines.

Hours of work: 9 Day fortnight / 38 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits: Commencement annual salary $66,683.08 to $73,352.68 ($33.75 to $37.12 per hour) (Grade 11). Plus Superannuation (10%), Relocation assistance if required
