To continue to deliver for our community, we are seeking a dynamic crew member to join our Roads & Drainage Maintenance team. We are interested in receiving a diverse range of applicants and welcome people who have experience in a similar outdoors maintenance role.

This role will provide you the opportunity to:

  • Complete maintenance and construction works to Roads and Drainage within the shire;
  • Operate plant equipment in a competent, safe and efficient manner to carry out allocated tasks;
  • Assist other employees with road and parks maintenance and construction works;
  • Ensure all works and work sites comply with traffic management, public safety and occupational health and safety standards

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in the provision of high quality maintenance services.
  • Experience in plant operations and maintenance.
  • Proven ability to work independently and self-manage work-loads and tasks.
  • Ability to utilise problem solving skills to manage and resolve issues independently or in consultation with other officers. 
  • Demonstrated experience in applying Occupational Health Safety and Risk Management principles that support an OHS culture.
  • Capability to deliver a high quality customer service experience.
  • Well-developed communication skills
