What you need to know...

  • permanent part time  - 56 hours per fortnight
  • the package:  $43,492 - $51,865 (pro-rata) plus superannuation per annum

About the role

The Library Assistant (Acquisitions & Promotions) supports the Clarence Regional Library in receiving and making available new material, processing invoices for payment and preparing and delivery of promotional activities and materials.

The position works collaboratively with the Clarence Valley and Bellingen Shire Library teams across the Clarence Regional Service to develop and maintain our Libraries as an inclusive, accessible, and vibrant community destination.

To be considered for this position you will need to:

  • Address the essential criteria

You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.
  • Target questions - answer the  target questions - maximum 300 words each question

    1. Describe some examples of work that you have done independently or with little direction
    2. Give an example of how you have worked collaboratively with others in your current or previous role
    3. Select a recent work example, describe how you planned out your work once you were clear on the goal

Other important information

This position is located at Council's Sir Earle Page Library, Grafton, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
