This is a Casual position. Salary $44.01 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading plus superannuation. Junior Rates apply for applicants under the age of 21.
We are looking for swim instructors to help children and adults of all ages develop proper swimming techniques and skills. As an integral member of the team, you will make a positive impact to the lives of the community by teaching a lifelong skill.

About the role
We are looking for swim instructors to help children and adults of all ages develop proper swimming techniques and skills. The swim instructor's responsibilities include evaluating each student's performance during swim sessions and providing feedback, completing attendance, progress, and accident reports, and ensuring that all swimming aids and equipment are in good working order. Lessons run from Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons and Saturdays and Sunday mornings. The Learn to Swim classes are held at our indoor 25m heated pool located at Beaton Park Leisure Centre.
About you
To be successful as a swim instructor, you should demonstrate patience and enthusiasm and be able to motivate students to accomplish their swimming goals.
Current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate or equivalent
Current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Paid NSW Working With Children Check Number
