Our role

We have a great opportunity for qualified plumber to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of Council’s plumbing and drainage to buildings, parks and other property.

You will also be organising materials and tools associated with the plumbing and drainage projects and you will be responsible for supervising plumbing contractors. As part of your duties you will also be required to act in the role of Trades Supervisor in their absence.

To be successful you will have trade qualifications in plumbing, drainage and gas –fitting together with extensive relevant experience in plumbing maintenance. Well developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are also required.

Please note: Being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 is a requirement prior to commencement of employment with Willoughby City Council, except where a medical contraindication certificate is provided.
