The Package: $1,053.96 - $1,164.66 gross per week + 10.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 4 of the QPRC Salary System 2021).

Full-time – 38 hours per week. RDO conditions will apply. Flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right applicant. Several positions may be filled through this round.

Position Overview: The role of General Equipment Operator position sits within the Utilities Branch and is primarily responsible for the manual and electronic reading of property revenue water meters.

Other duties can occasionally include water meter replacement; drainage construction/maintenance; water supply operations; sewerage operations; and worksite traffic control. You may also have the opportunity to drive and operate Council’s plant machinery and participate in an on-call roster as required. Participation in an on-call roster is mandatory in the event that it is deemed operationally required.

The successful applicant will also be physically fit, have good written and oral communication skills, hold a current motor vehicle driver’s licence and possess an NSW White Card.
