Full Time - Temporary (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

Band 6 - $94,850.87 - $103,260.68 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

An exciting opportunity is available to join Aged and Disability Services Branch. We are seeking an enthusiastic team member with exceptional service delivery and change management experience to join the team. 

The Food Services Lead is responsible for providing a high-quality and safe food service to support our residents to maintain nutritional wellbeing and continue to live independently and participate in the life of the community.

In this role you will be implementing major changes to our service model, as we transition our delivery service, introduce a new food provider, and implement a new client management system. Ideally, you will be an experienced service leader in the aged care sector, with a track record of food safety supervision, managing change and supporting staff and clients.

You will also be able to contribute to the Branch and Community Programs Unit which is responsible for food services, social support group programs, and community transport.

The position reports to the Coordinator Community Programs and is part of Yarra Council’s Community Strengthening division. To be successful in this role, you will also need to be a great communicator, value and drive teamwork, and put the customer first.
