Tamworth Regional Council is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead Plant and Fleet team at Council.   

The “Fleet & Workshop Supervisor” is responsible for supervising the general operation of Council’s Workshop and Fleet services operations, maintaining Council’s GPS tracking assets and carrying out procurement up to the tender threshold and assist with tender level procurement.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • TAFE Certificate III in motor vehicle mechanics or similar related discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience in Plant and Fleet asset management or similar experience including purchase and disposals.
  • 3-5 years experience with Microsoft office products – Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Minimum NSW class C Drivers Licence.

Salary Range: Grade 12 $1396.20 - $1,510.80 per week plus allowances and superannuation, 38 hours per week.
