Coordinator Engineering Design
- Lead a team of professional engineers and officers in providing civil, structural, environmental, and hydraulic engineering design services for infrastructure projects.
- Manage and oversee the delivery of engineering design services for various asset classes including transport, stormwater, open space, and buildings.
- Set strategic direction for engineering design by managing design specifications and technical manuals.
- Engage and manage external consultants to ensure project objectives are met within budget and scope.

Your Role as Team Leader Engineering Design
As the Team Leader of Engineering Design, you will report directly to the Infrastructure Planning & Design Manager and lead a talented group of design professionals. You will be responsible for an extensive range of engineering design services that align with our community's strategic vision.
This role is crucial in enhancing and delivering quality engineering outcomes for all council infrastructure assets and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. You'll have the opportunity to set strategic directions for engineering design, manage external consultants, and contribute to the delivery of our Capital program.

- Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline with demonstrated experience in a leadership role.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships.

- Package: Competitive salary will be negotiated based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week with the option of a 19 day month.
