Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking experienced childcare workers who are passionate and self-motivated to undertake the position of Community Services Coordinator – Remote Crèche based in Beswick, NT.

In this role, you will manage and lead a team of Crèche staff that focuses on delivering an efficient and effective service that results in the engagement of toddlers and their parents. You are  responsible for coordinating community services programs across the region in accordance with program guidelines and in a culturally sensitive manner.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with extensive knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job training.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementation of Early Childhood activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact well with children and able to build positive relationships with families.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with and work collaboratively with a range of government and community stakeholders to build effective relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with indigenous people and have an awareness of issues faced in remote communities.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading and motivating a team of staff who reside and work in a remote and culturally diverse situation.

Our Community Services Coordinator – Remote Crèche will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $74,372.51 to $81,761.36 per annum plus Superannuation, negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
