Community Programs Officer
Temporary Part-Time until 04/06/2023 – 14 hours per week  - (Thu-Fri & 1-in-4 Sat morning)
Band 4 - $68,101.57 - $73,462.90 (pro rata) + super

Yarra Libraries is seeking a creative and motivated person to fill a temporary position within the Bargoonga Nganjin North Fitzroy team, supporting customer services and digital and community programs.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Contribute to the delivery of regular library services and programs that support lifelong learning, digital literacy/technology, reader development and literacy outcomes.
  • Provide excellent customer service in performing a range of rostered library operations that support customers.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to plan, deliver and evaluate activities that support the delivery of the library strategy.
  • Deliver regular collection maintenance activities in accordance with Yarra Libraries guidelines and plans.

The position is temporary part-time until 4/06/2023. It is primarily based at Bargoonga Nganjin North Fitzroy Library but the successful applicant may be required to work across multiple sites. Some evening and weekend work is required.
