Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Gwydir Day Care and Preschool Team.

  • Location Moree - Gwydir Day Care and Preschool 
  • Attractive Salary starting at $30.86 per hour (including 25% leave loading in lieu of entitlements) depending on qualifications and experience.

About the role

As a casual Childcare Assistant, you are expected to be an active team member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020.

 About you

You must be 18 years of age or older, completed a minimum education level of Year Ten or equivalent, have or be actively working towards a minimum of an approved Certificate III Education and Care qualification.  In addition to this you must have a current NSW Working with Check Clearance and a current First Aid Certificate.

Prior experience working with young children with the demonstrated ability to relate in a positive and caring manner and meet the individual needs of children ranging in ages 8 weeks to 5 years is also an essential requirement for this role.
