Permanent- Full Time

Band 4 - $70,961.51 - $76,364.21 + RDO (for full time 38-hour week only) + superannuation

Our team has a strong reputation in the community as the leading provider of swimming and water safety lessons. Alongside our flagship learn-to-swim program at Collingwood Leisure Centre, Richmond Recreation Centre, and the iconic Fitzroy Swimming Pool, we also offer school learn-to-swim programs, aquatic facility hire, and specialised programs such as 'Women Making Waves' and 'Access All Abilities', which create unique opportunities for our diverse patrons, members, and community.

The successful candidate will thrive in challenging and evolving situations, enjoy working collaboratively to support a large service-based team across multiple locations and be dedicated to the ongoing development of the team and exemplary customer service. Their passion for aquatic education and healthy lifestyles will drive them to innovate and strategically enhance our programs and services.

The key responsibilities include:

  • To assist the Program Team Leaders in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of all Yarra Leisure aquatic programs.
  • To support the Program Team Leaders in the supervision and development of Aquatic Staff service delivery.
  • To provide exceptional customer service to patrons of the Yarra Leisure Aquatics programs.
  • To perform a range of administrative functions to ensure an efficiently running Aquatic Programs.
  • Assist in the facilitation and programming of school programs & facility hire.
  • Implement the cover policy and be available to assist in organising replacements for absent staff.
  • Be available to cover a learn-to-swim program session directly in case of an emergency.
