About the role

We currently have Permanent Part-time and Temporary Part-time positions available to join our Health Services Team!

The Temporary Part-time position hours are Saturday 6:45am - 1:00pm and Sunday 7:15am - 1:00pm

Ripples is seeking highly enthusiastic individuals to join the Allied Health Team with a passion for helping people and customer service. The main aspect of the role is to manage the daily operations of the Ripples Hydrotherapy Centre and working closely with the Allied Health Professionals to ensure that all members and visitors receive a positive service experience, and be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of all services to our members.

Other key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing all incoming and outgoing calls for the Hydrotherapy Centre 
  • Responding to customer enquiries using emails 
  • Managing all client bookings, practitioner's diaries and Learn to Swim bookings
  • Accepting payments, invoicing and receipting 
  • Membership sales

Essential criteria

  • Extensive experience in an administration based role 
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including Provide First Aid, Provide Emergency Life Support and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated customer experience within a fast-paced work environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-developed PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and internet search engines
  • Demonstrated high levels of personal organization, including the ability to manage workflows, meet regular deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Desirable criteria

  • Previous work experience in Allied Health Services industry or similar role

Commencing salary: $27.19 plus 10% Superannuation.

This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.

This position requires the worker to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or to hold a medical contraindication certificate.
