The Property Administration Officer provides administrative support across the whole of Council, with a primary focus on Council owned and managed properties and community facilities,while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and accuracy.The role is the central point of contact for key functions, lease arrangements and paperwork, and internal/external stakeholder queries.
About you:
- Ability and skills to provide administrative support across a diverse range of services.
- Strong organisational skills to coordinate maintenance schedules, manage keys, and assist with inspections and projects.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring tenancy agreements, inspections, and property records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with tenants, maintenance contractors, and internal stakeholders professionally and efficiently.
- Experience in assisting with property management tasks, such as organising entry and exit cleans, scheduling inspections, and supporting tenancy arrangements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills to contribute to the smooth operation of Council facilities.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to handle sensitive situations, such as cemetery bookings, with professionalism and empathy.
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience, along with competence in records management and data entry.
