Are you a digital marketing expert with a love for creating engaging content that will connect our diverse community with library programs and services?

Canterbury-Bankstown Council is looking for a creative, self-motivated and innovative eMarketing specialist to fill this role within our Library Service.

This position will be offered on a Temporary Full Time basis, 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with the possibility of requiring a minimum of two nights per week. Library staff are required to wear a uniform, which will be provided.

The salary range for this opportunity commences at $72,782 (Grade F, Step 1) + 10% super.

The Role:

As the Technical Specialist Library eMarketing, you will work closely with digital marketing strategists and stakeholders to develop, coordinate and facilitate the effective eMarketing of library collections, programs and services to expand visitation and membership across all 9 Canterbury-Bankstown Library branches. You will plan, organise, implement and evaluate eMarketing strategies, including but not limited to website, social media, e-newsletters and emails.

Other responsibilities include continually reviewing the library website to ensure effective online discovery and access, managing the provision of information content for social media applications, providing accurate monthly and annual statistics relevant to use of the Library's web presence and social media, maintaining an awareness of current and future trends in public libraries and ensuring targets are met within time and on budget.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position or extensive hands-on experience in a Digital

Marketing environment;
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Experience:

• Experience in successfully developing, implementing and evaluating online marketing

strategies/campaigns;

• Experience with online analytical tools to determine marketing effectiveness;

• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including high level English

skills;

• Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service through continuous improvement strategies.
