The type of support most commonly offered within councils includes:
Financial assistance for the successful completion of university and vocational education and training qualifications

Exam and study leave for approved courses of study
Training for licenses and tickets required to perform certain outdoor jobs, e.g. forklift driving, working in confined spaces
