Completing Your Application

Your application should include the following:

  1. A covering letter stating why you are applying for the position, giving your address and details of how you may be contacted during normal business hours.
  2. Please ensure the position title is clearly marked on the front page of your application.
  3. A resume that provides your relevant personal details, qualifications and work history.
  4. You should include in your resume the names and contacts of at least two (2) professional referees. Currently Available Positions

experienced persons for the following positions with Council.

WORKS TEAM MEMBER
(Multiple Positions Available)

Council invites applications for the above positions  currently available within The Flinders Ranges Council Works Department, based out of the Quorn and / or Hawker Works Depots.

The positions are full-time permanent positions working a nine (9) day fortnight. A current HR driver’s license is considered essential for the role. (Persons holding a lower classification MR license will be considered where they are prepared to obtain the HR license within six (6) months).

Conditions of employment for these positions will be in accordance with the Local Government Employees Award and The Flinders Ranges Council Enterprise Agreement No. 11 – 2022. The positions have been classified as Grade 5 with an hourly rate of between $31.5448 and $32.2597 (depending on skills, qualifications and experience).

The positions will report to the Leading Hand – Parks, Gardens & Facilities and the Team Leader – Operations.

The positions may involve work on weekends and at times outside of normal business hours.
