Our Shire is home to over 7,730 people living in 54 sites across the vast and beautiful West Kimberley.
Our location provides for a variety of leisure activities including superb fishing, boating, sightseeing and sports. On our doorstep are some truly stunning and untouched wilderness areas like the famed Buccaneer Archipelago, National Parks and Gorges, and the mighty Fitzroy River.
We offer a diverse range of employment opportunities in areas such as community development; aquatic, sport and recreation; library and youth services; aboriginal environmental health, environmental health, rangers and town planning; asset management and civil engineering; general hand labourer/plant operators, stores and mechanic; customer service, administration, governance, finance and human resources; visitor information; airports and wharf.
